Pre-College Academy

The Pre-College Academy provides high school students the opportunity to earn college credit by taking DBU classes online. Pre-College Academy students receive the same exceptional, Christ-centered education that every student at DBU receives. Plus, Pre-College Academy students are given preferred consideration for admissions and scholarship opportunities at DBU. View the different Pre-College Academy Partner Schools.

Pre-College Academy classes give high school students an edge when applying to colleges. Not only will students have college courses after graduating, but they also get to experience a college atmosphere. At only $450 per class, students have the chance to start their college careers now.

  • HIST 1301 -  U.S. History to 1865
  • HIST 1302 - U.S. History Since 1865
  • POLS 2301 - American National Government
  • ECON 2302 - Principles of Microeconomics
  • RELI 1301 - Old Testament Survey
  • RELI 1302 - New Testament Survey

Advanced Placement (AP)

AP Classes are a great way to earn college credit while still in high school. Please send your transcripts to admissions@dbu.edu to find out if any AP scores you have already achieved will be awarded credit. International Baccalaureate Programme (IB)

DBU Participates in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization and will award credit if required scores are achieved on specific exams. Credit is not awarded for all IB exams, so click More Info to find a chart outlining the required scores on the accepted exams

College Level Examinations Program (CLEP)

DBU awards college credit to students who satisfactorily complete the College Level Examinations Program (CLEP) of the College Entrance Examination Board. You can find the required score needed for credit on the various tests available, and many other details by clicking More Info.
